Hello all, I've been out of the hobby for a little over 3 years now and bug bit me after tearing my ACL in March and returning my car back to stock.....I told the wife that I needed to get back into another hobby.
After careful consideration and research I wanted to go with an AIO nano this go around, last 3 tanks were 90, 125, 150. It was between the WB and the IM30. I read great things about the Waterbox's and decided to pull the trigger on 30.2.
I placed the order on 8/28 and tank arrived on 9/5. I must say I have never had a tank create shipped to me before which was kinda neat. I was very impressed by the packaging, however upon me actually setting up the tank on my stand and inspecting it, I was unfortunate and had the bottom lefthand glass is chipped as well as a scratched. I have been in constant communication with WB and still waiting for a reply on what their plan of attack will be.
Now this next portion here is in no way any negative reflect on Waterbox, I am just simply sharing my experience thus far. After I ordered my tank I went searching for a stand, after a TON of looking everywhere for both aquarium/fish stands, I also started looked at furniture. I finally gave in and ordered the matching stand through WB back on 9/3 and was then notified via email 2 days later the stand would not be in until late October. The problem I had was that when you're on their site and click "shop" you can scroll down to the stands and select the size you need and add it to the cart and their is no notification to inform you that they are on back order. Now if you click on the stand and go into it, then it reflects so. Needless to say I was right back to square one. It was unfortunate timing, but I received the email about the stand the same day the tank was delivered so it was 2 whammies back to back.
I got fortunate and found a pretty nice stand thats in a white wood finish that both me and wife like. Thanks for visiting!!
