My wife and I are looking to upgrade to the waterbox 320 and are making a supply list for everything we need to get it up and running the RIGHT way. Please post any/all suggestions for equipment including what kind of heater setup y'all have in mind.

I like these heaters so far, although if you have 230-gallons, you may need two.

I was thinking along the lines of one large heater with a small for redundancy. Thoughts? Even if I step down to the WB reef LX 270

I'd get 2 of the same size heater and run them on a controller. One running all the time, the other just incase of failure.

I have been waiting to purchase the 320 also but it's always on back order.

I have ~100 gal and need 150-175 W to properly keep the temp (room temp ~68-72, tank temp 78).

For 300 gal, I would expect you need ~500 W to maintain temp. You may want to get 2x600W kit from BRS.
