Picked up supply’s for the stand today!! Will be working on it all day tomorrow at my buddy’s wood shop.

What a long day!! And I know it’s a shame to cover all the orange. But I own a monkey and goto keep him out..
stand progress as of now.. going to make sure the sump and all components fit before I start filling screw holes and painting.

Extremely long day, but the tank has water, a lot of kinks to work out, new to the apex but I will get it

Well trying to hook equipment up 1 piece at a time and the first 3 have junk parts! 2-brand new MP40s 1 of them goes up in smoke 18 hours in,, next setting up my ato container plumbing my RO directly into it! 2 optical sensors a solenoid valve and a backup float switch in case of emergencies, 1 optical sensor junk!!!
ATK FMM junk! Uhg,,, I leave in 7 days for 2 weeks and really want the basics up and running.
Headed to the LFS this afternoon and hopefully getting new parts

So far I got the replacement parts and everything has been working flawlessly the last couple days.. I only have the basics running now for the cycling of the tank till I get back!

Why get a peninsula style tank only to black out the back glass and place it against a wall? You may have already answered this but why not get a traditional tank?

I was searching for a tank around the size of this one. Came across this 6026 for a really good deal brand new so had to scoop it. The peninsula wouldn’t fit anywhere in my current house, but once our house is built in the next couple years I will be able to scrape the paint back off and use it as one! That’s if I don’t go a lot bigger in the new place lol.
