Excuse the microbubbles pls I just started breaking in my skimmer. It’s only thing I hate about setting up a new tank, the skimmer break in period.

As of now I only have two clowns. I have a melanurus wrasse and royal gramma on the way. I also have have 2 Damsels but they are so mean and skittish, I keep them in a separate tank.

This is my second tank, first got hit with uronema everything died except one clown (he’s a trooper). I tore it all down and sold what I could and purchased the Waterbox 70.3.

I’m still learning about this hobby and thankful for places like this where I can ask a question and get real help!

Nice tank! I'm sure that you will enjoy watching it fill up and mature!

Nice setup! Looks great, you will have to tell me how you like that skimmer I was going to purchase one.

It’s funny that you ask because I was just online looking to downsize. It’s a bit much for my system volume, it’s a nice skimmer and not too noisy (my aquamaxx was a bit quieter). I believe it would do the job for a medium to heavily stocked aquarium with much more water volume than I have (probably around 65 gallons in my tank including sump).

So it really depends on your tank size and your bioload. Anything less then the recommend stats and it’s just gonna overflow and create tons of microbubbles.

My tank is roughly 82 gallons. I don’t have that big of bioload yet but planning on in the future I think they are nice looking and read great reviews.

Also you should get yourself a nice build thread badge!
