Hello everyone, I have a 90.3 WaterBox with a small bio load. But I’m starting to get algae around some of my frags.

I believe is haired algea, I don’t have a skimmer setup. I’m just using filer socks at the moment.

wondering if anyone has setup a refugium in the skimmer section of the stock sump?

and would that help with algea outbreak in the main display?

I have same tank and I am curious if anyone has a refugium setup as well. Right now I just have my heater and skimmer in the sump and a few of those purious ceramic plates.

Yeah I’m guessing not a lot of people have a fuge setup with this tank? I have no skimmer in my tank so I have all that space available. Really considering setting up a fuge in there

I'm curious too. I have 100.3 and I bought a baffle kit to use in the sump from octoaquatics.com I just bought it so I do not know the quality or how it works just yet.

I might get a baffle kit my self, as of right now I just have it with no baffles

It's really odd that these sumps are so simple and lack an area for a refugium
