Hello everyone, Just to start I do have a Waterbox peninsula 25, cube 20, and cube 10. My question about my cube 20. The tank is leveled but the water level in chamber 1 is a lot higher than in my other Waterbox aquariums. Their customer service is claiming that something must be blocking the baffle, but I look in there and use a filter brush. Nothing… Just alot of silicone. The water in chamber 2 and 3 flows just fine, but the high water level in chamber 1 results in real poor surface skimming.

I also removed the filter sock, sponges, and media if that is a problem. Chamber 2 just holds my ice cap protein skimmer. Chamber 3 has the stock return pump.

Any ideas on how to increase the flow from chamber 1 and 2 to allow for better surface skimming? Photo 1 is of my WB20, notice the water level is so high. I just added new filter floss about 10 minutes ago. Photo 2 is of my WB25, notice how the water level is a lot lower and allows for better surface skimming.

Thank you in advance.

Mine is the same way. So I’m gonna tag along. Also we have the same skimmer. Do you like it? Mine I’m not so sure about yet due to water level changing and such.

I have the same tank. Keep the filter sock as clean as possible. There is a few companies that make a cup you can replace sock with and use filter floss I’m considering trying that cause sock gets dirty FAST.
