Hi All! I just purchased a waterbox 25 that I can't wait to use. They have their filter media pack, but I was wondering if anyone know of alternatives.

Does anyone have recommendations for bulk replacements if the sponge and carbon they include in the pack? Thanks

I have a WB AIO 50.3. I use the sponges, Seachem Seagel and Pond Matrix in a media bag. I also have filter socks. If yours doesn't, then you can used some filter floss pad (cheap on Amazon).
Mechanical filter media should be packed in first so that it receives the flow of raw water. All water should come in contact with this then the padding part of the filter layers before it reaches any biological or chemical filter media. Hth!
