Since starting in the hobby nearly 3 years ago I’ve set up:
•Fluval Evo 13.5 (my first tank)
•40 Breeder
•Waterbox Peninsula Mini 25
•Waterbox Cube 10
This is my first tank with a sump, and I was feeling a little intimidated.

I’m happy with the build quality of both the tank and the stand. Since I ordered the Marine DX, it comes with an acrylic sump and I’m happy with it, but it’s my first sump - so I don’t have much to compare it to. The Marine X plumbing kit comes with a hose for the return line which would be a lot easier than the all-metric-PVC assembly that received. I had to buy a Metric to SAE adaptor, standard PVC cement, and fittings to plumb my return pump. I’ve worked with PVC before, but it’s been a while.

Progress is slowly being made, the tank arrived over a month ago and it finally has water, sand, and some dry rock from a previous tank. I’ll need more rock and am on the fence, but not exactly in a hurry. The partial aquascape below was created from the dry rock I had

For equipment:
•Sicce Syncra SDC 6.0
•inkbird WiFi
•2 BRS Titanium heaters
•cheap ATO (would like to buy an osmolator)
•Nero 5 (will replace the cheap jebaos that are in there now
•2 XR15 pro G6

For the substrate, I added a thin layer of Tropic Eden Tonga pink sand.

Question are you able to eliminate the ATO reservoir in the sump? I was able to do it on the glass sump not sure if you can on these new sumps.

It doesn’t look like there’s an elegant way to do it, but you could go after it with some sort of a saw. You’d end up with a big return pump chamber.

got one also

Mind showing or telling me what adapter please. Thanks
I bought the DN25 to 3/4” adapter from BRS.

DN25 to 3/4”

They also sell a Union that does the same thing if your pump doesn’t come with a means to disconnect it for cleaning.

I also purchased this and found out they have a coupler you can get witch I think is allot better. It looks sketchy when it’s in
