WaterBox Marine X 60.2

5/1/2021
Yesterday was my birthday and took the day off from work. Spend the day setting everything up to start the cycle. Everything seems to be working well. Skimmer and lights are off for now. Now we wait.

wow nice build man ,you sure jumped right back in, in a BIG way...lol
looks like this is going to be a sweet tank.

just some thoughts make sure that media bag zipper is reef safe. sometime they use metal zipper....um handle

I personally like the ATO in the return chamber. just a thought.

odd question but can you get a top down shot of the tank I wat to see how much room the overflow box takes up. any chance you could get the dems.
thinking about this take for a project build I have been wanting to do for years.

+1 for putting the ato in the return chamber, the skimmer chamber should largely stay the same water level unless you've got it too full.

8/2/2021 UPDATE
It's been a minute since I been on here. I have a few updates on the tank.
I added some corals, fish and equipment.

1- I removed the ATO compartment from the sump and used the space for media reactor.

2- Install the Klir Filter

3- Skimmer is broken in and working well

4- Added some Zoas, Acan, Clove polyps and Green Monti. Also a pair of Banggai CardinalFish.

Good to see a fellow Miami reefer on here.

Almost bought this tank but ended up going with the RedSea due to lack of availability from Waterbox. Looking great so far brother. Following!

Yeah man I had to wait like 2 months for the tank but it was worth it. I had the 170 as well but ended up selling it. Thanks for the follow.

Very compatible main difference is the plumbing standard vs metric besides that they are both beautiful tanks.

Yeah, I actually regret going 1 inch on the PVC. The large diameter downflow pipe makes it difficult to tune the gate valve.
