Full tank shot, not a great photo but I am actually leaning on the old tank. It is in the process of getting drained to be removed. Will get a better photo once that is away. Looks out of proportion from this angle.

Left hand side is my Soft side - Leather, clove polyps, zoa's.

Right side is LPS - Acan's, chalice, goniopora

I put the bigger flat piece at the top if I dare to try a few SPS down the line. I am not sure I want to go there though.

Sump and equipment. Skimmer was getting emptied at this stage

Heater is only there temporary and is getting moved into main sump area, had it there to move things about without risk of damaing it.

I have an eheim thermocontrol 300w heater and here is a screenshot of my reef factory thermo view keeping an eye on temps.

So a bit of an update on the waterbox.

from my last post I have since bought, used and removed a bubble magnus mini 70 media reactor. It worked too well with the tropic marin bacto pellets. And completely stripped out phosphate and nitrate. I have purchased a reef octo 110s int skimmer. Currently waiting on a stand coming as its a bit too deep and letting some micro bubbles into the aquarium.

I have lost a goniopora, I didn’t have it glued down and a snail or something in the night knocked if over onto the sand and over the next few days it went downhill. It really didn’t like the sand.

Recently I have lost a yellow wrasse, I am currently dosing the tank with polyp lab medic although almost finished and fish are all looking happy and healthy. For a while I’m not sure if removing the reactor caused something to leach into the water or it just stressed the fish but they had what looked like ich however I’m not convinced that is what it was and it is now cleared up. Pretty much on its on, I made sure and feed heavily and also used the polyp lab medic.

Sump is a little tidier and I have done some cable management and pleased with it. I have the power strip in the cabinet so keeping an eye on it for salt creep etc… so far so good, possibly longer term I will box it in. Still undecided.

That’s pretty much the sump update. I have got some new livestock and some new other bits and bobs that I will share in another post
