When you have a small tank and a coral problem:

Added a new 3D printed MP10 guard to replace the previous diy sponge guard.

Corals starting to grow out. Probably have more frags now than I can fit longterm though may have to trim back as territory becomes an issue.

I may have missed it but what’s your maintenance schedule like? I have a Nuvo 10g that looked great for its first 2 years. Then the third year included a move and the tank crashed. I blame myself for not remaining diligent.

Good on you for setting up the ATO. On a nano like this it makes a huge difference!

I started with regular water changes every week for the first few months, around 4g of 15g. I’m now a bit more lax, bi-monthly water changes around 4g of 15g.

Other:
- replace carbon bag monthly
- rinse mech media biweekly, replace monthly
- clean glass, empty skimmer etc. as needed

I’d never not do an ATO on a SW tank. Relatively cheap investment to keep tank stable and save yourself a ton of time with manual topoffs.

That all seems reasonable. Low to no fish to feed also helps. Mine 10g is running skimmerless and had some clowns in it that I was probably over feeding. They’ve since move to my Nuvo 25 Lagoon.

what you have here looks good so far!

Thanks. Ya may need to up water changes again once I get fish. Thinking clown goby or clown pair, TBD, though otherwise moderate to low bioload for now with only corals and hermit/snails.

Some growth, some moving things around. Nothing too major:

Recently upgraded to a Kessil 160WE, corals seem to be coloring up really well with the change. Added a 3D printed shade for the Kessil.

Making some nice progress. Corals starting to fill out.
