Hi all,
I've recently set up my first saltwater tank after having kept tropical some years back. All seems to be going OK so far but I have a problem with my tank and how it sits on the stand.
The tank and stand are level (I had to shim the stand slightly as the floor is slightly slanted) but one corner of the tank isn't quite touching the stand. I can slide a piece of paper about 2-3 inches in before it jams as per the picture. All other sides seem fine.
My question is, is this a major problem? From research online some say not at all stick a penny under it and others say buy a new stand as its a disaster. I have soft plastic shims Icould put under there as per pictures but I'm just not sure what's for best really? I really don't want to deal with a new stand etc. As I've just gotten going.
Any help is appreciated as well as generally tips for a new starter!
Thanks in advance
