Waterbox reef 130 ai primes question

Sup guys how are u guys spacing ur ai prime lights with the center overflow.. the ai prime mount will not fit in the center overflow because of the plumbing in there....only way they fit in there is if u flip the plastic mount around...but that puts the metal part into the water....would cuase problems if the metal is in the water? Here's a pic of how the lights are currently...

Metal and saltwater together are never a good thing as rust is sure to result and then leaching into your water poses other problems.

The mounts are aluminum

Not sure if this resolved for you, but the flex arms they make can fix the spacing because they can rotate. If your okay with the asthetic, that is.
