Goals for the tank
Bought this tank so I can have a separate system for my sps corals, incase of any tank crashes to my frag tank I'll be using this new tank to house extra copies of the corals. My goal is to have mainly higher valued sps corals in this tank.

Finally BRS had my mp40's in stock so ordered 4 of them to put on the back wall of this tank.

Found out today that the tank is HEAVY! Guessing around 400# for the glass alone! Tore down my current tank and waiting for tomorrow when we get a few more guys to help lift it into the house.

Update! Started to fill it with water slowly... carrying 5 gallon buckets at a time mixing 30 gallons of saltwater at a time ugh! Forgot to order a neptune energy bar so ordered another one to finish off the control board. Will get a video up shortly!

Hey so I noticed you’ll be running aquatic life t5 what’s your plan on mounting. I’m going to be purchasing the 230 as well in hopefully a couple weeks but the wife said no holes in wall or ceiling. So I’m stuck finding another mounting option. Love the build so far. Keep the pics and vids coming

I also have the 230.5 snd the stand after leveling and with water , sand and rock ( 1700lbs ) can never with no effort back in forth from back to front

Everytime I see these huge tank. All I could think is I’m just gonna have an automated water change. Big enough to do 100% in a couple on minutes. Just for emergency of course.
