Hi all! Can anyone provide guidance on the correct levels for a Waterbox sump? A couple of things I would like to get right.

  1. The level in the main Skimmer section. What so that be!
  2. The level of water in the last filter sock chamber ? Should there be a gap in water level there?
  3. Then finally flow. I have a Vectra M2. I have it in the lowest setting. What should I be running that at? I assume it should be more than the lowest setting (whatever GPH that is) but what should it be at. I do know that whatever changes I make there I will have to counter using the tuning wheel in the plumbing from the overflow box.

1. The level on the skimmer chamber is determined by what skimmer you have... check manufacturer recommendations.

2. If it is not an adjustable chamber, no need to be concerned with the level.

3. A safe bet is 10x tank volume.
