Have the Waterbox 100G with included sump.
Having some issues with micro bubbles getting into the tank.

Has anyone had issues with the plumbing causing micro bubbles?
Should I be using some sort or sponge block in the area before the return pump? I currently have this empty/blank.

Any help appreciated in trying to reduce micro bubbles in the display

Yep, mine came with one. Tried removing it because a bacteria bloom slimed it and clogged it up but started seeing microbubs so cleaned it, soaked it, put it back in...

Thanks! ....mine came with one of those as well, but I tossed it out not knowing exactly what it was, thought it was to protect glass during shipping.

Do they sell replacements? Or are there other replacements out there that you can buy then cut to shape/fit?

Sure you could buy some non dense foam and cut it to shape. I however like that theirs is pretty rigid and open so small stuff doesn't clog it up, but does stop say stray chaeto. I'd reach out to them and see if they sell replacements
