today I did a much needed water change on my 36g was a week over due so I had to take out a gallon and a half more than I had so I replaced with just rodi. My salt normally is around 1.25 but today it’s around 1.24 - 1.24 1/2 should this harm anything with a little salt change

Well the thing is I won’t have anymore salt till I go back to the store I buy 5g from store every week and do a 5g each week

No , you'll be fine. Lagoons swing throughout the day naturally. Just dont make it a habit and learn for next time. ... always have things on hand.

Obviously consistency is key in most situations (although for breeding sometimes, and for some fish, an intentional salinity change is appropriate). Not knowing exactly what is included in your tank, it is unlikely that the change you described will have any impact.

However, you may want to have a plan in place for the situation where you had a larger swing either too high or too low. Good luck!
