Hey guys looking to get some advice I got a stand not the best or highest quality so I was wondering if anyone have any ideas that I can do to add some layers on this to clean up some of the holes and deficits

Unfortunately theres not much you can do with warped particleboard and cracked laminate.

Are you trying to just cover the hole? Or reuse the hole for something?

Just looks for some ideas to paint over before assembling the stand together

I would use some sort of advanced wood putty to smooth over it then sand it. It wont be perfect but it will cover up the hole. If you want to use the hole as a hole again you can do a dowel repair first then just chip the laminate back, use the putty to smooth it flat then sand it perfectly flat and redrill your hole when everything is cured.

Not sure about the holes but best advice I can give is invest in some pvc board and build a box inside stand. I would not buy a stand anymore w/o a pvc board liner (and all plywood for that matter). Trust me I have had a variety of things happen from skimmer overflow to leaks and the liner holds it all. Mine holds up to 2.5" deep of water under a 6ft stand. It has kept every problem I have had from damaging the stand or being out on the floor.
