Does anyone have any examples of what a tank running 6500k lights looks like. I've been reading that it can look yellow compared to tanks that run 10k lights. And would 100w be enough for a 27 gal hex that's 24" deep? I Would like to put some easy to keep corals in tank some day, so would 6500k be enough to promot coral growth?

6500k is really yellow, look at most any FW tanks, thats what they run.
A 100w Lamp, is that what your going to run? What kind of light are you planning on using? That lamp is a tell all, I don't think its going to be enough for corals. But not sure what light your using.
