Wav pump locations

I have a 150 gal 6’ tank. I have my pump on either end pointed at each other. What does everyone else have good success doing? I’m running a mostly sps tank, have a few zoos on the ground with a clam...

I dont think there is any ultimate wave pattern. It depends on your main goal. Pointing them bear corals may help them grow. Ponting them near the bottom may uplift detritus. At each other and you get turbulence and mixing. Just depends. For me ive always pointed at the surface for o2 and the bottom to stir up settled organics.

I agree with @Cory ....in addition to that, it also depends on each tank's aquascaping. What is good for one tank, might not be for another. I usually have mine on the back glass on each side about 1/4 down from the surface, pointing towards the middle of the tank, slightly up.
