Wave Maker Controller

I just hooked up a hydor koralia wave maker controller and it seems to make my power heads click is this normal?

@Anthony Malagisi Personly it would cause abrupt no changes in one of my hydor koralia's. The other pump would not have this issue. I had of the larger Koralia's and I never ran into an issue.
