Wave maker placement

I’ll make sure to include of photo but I wondering where I should place my two hydor koralia’s. I have a 425 and a 240, and I’m have a 20 gallon long aquarium. I would like them to be hidden if possible but I don’t know if that’s realistic so that’s why I came here.

if you have just 2, I’d mount one top left and the other bottom right and facing each other along the back wall/

If you can sync them where one is off and the other on you will have some really cool movement.

which is another alternative if you need more flow as this gyres the surface real nice. Form factor in & size of the pump is big tho. I do the back wall thing for maintenance; hopefully you get accessible detritus piles.

The OP might consider a 3rd smallish powerhead for front flow

I actually have an aquaclear 70 that’s on the front left side of the aquarium so I might have too much flow.

I'm a Michigan fan. We don't stand much chance this year and we will loose Harbaugh this year. We are aweful

You may be right with the aquaclear both may be too much flow. Start with the small one if not enough swap out the nano with the big one.

So right now I have the 240 on the bottom right. Should I swap it with the 425 on the top left or just take one of them out for now?

How do you view your flow if you think its too much pull one of them.
If you feel the flow is too high with thr bigger swap for smaller. There is such a thing as to high flow.
