Are there any good wave makers or power heads for a 10 gallon clownfish tank? Suggestions? Also do you need to use one in affect with another thing such as an air pump or can you use it as it’s own system to oxygenate the water?

What kind of 10 gallon system do you have? Like whats the filtration and flow already looking like? I have a 10 gallon cube AIO and the return pump is sufficient enough in a reef tank.

In my opinion on a smaller aquarium like that getting a filter that’s quite a bit over sized is easier than a wave maker. It will oxygenate the water plenty for you. I know some people who got a Nero 3 or MP10 for nano tanks because they are over kill but at least you can turn them down as much as you want.

Look up Hygger mini wavemaker if you do not want to spend much.

Thanks

For a smaller tank like that with clowns and nems, you can many times get away without needing a powerhead. Just Like @fishski13 said above, the return pump can be enough.

We run an Waterbox Cube 10 office tank with just the return pump and one of our Random Flow Generators Nozzles. Its a soft coral tank with a coupe of Nems and clowns - even has a small Clam. Its been u and running for almost two years now with no power heads.
