Basic tank info. RedSeaMax 130D. 34 gallon biocube. Running about 6 months. 2 Clowns, Condy and a couple of zoa's 5 lbs live rock seeded, 25 lbs base rock, sand. Skimmer, floss, carbon. Bi-weekly 5 gallon water changes. Coraline growing over rocks and starting back wall.

I inherited 2 Koralia 240's and have them on a Hydor smart wave controller. They move some water but doesn't seem to be much. I'm looking to upgrade and staying with the Koralia Nano line. ( reasonably inexpensive and good quality )

I can go to the 425's for about $29 each ( will add two ) or I can do the 565's for $31 each.

My question would be are two of the 565's too much for the tank?

Looking to add more zoa's and maybe frogspawn or octospawn as well.

Thoughts on the 565's or other options? ( can't justify the MP10's even though I would really like to )

I would recommend the jebao pp4. $50 and up to 1000 gph. It’s controllable so you can go way lower than that too and change modes. You would only have to get one so you’d save some money. If you wanna stick with koralia I’d do the 425’s

Thank you. I’ll look at them today.

I have had the nano 425 on my 29long for a week and it’s terrible. I am returning it today. I don’t think the 525 would be much better, I wasn’t impressed with the power but it is very small and sleek.
