Hey everyone! I'm going to start the process of upgrading my tanks with wavemakers. I have 3 cubes (16, 24, 29 gallon) but don't plan on a wavemaker for the 16 gallon any time soon. That being said, I'm wondering if yall have suggestions for my other tanks. Specifically at this time I am making my 24 gallon Nano a reef tank, so that is where I will start with the wavemaker. One more layer to the scenario is that all of my tanks are running Current USA lights and so in my mind it might be best to go with a Current USA wavemaker since it would tie into the loop system for my lights. The biggest drawback I'm seeing on most reviews is that it's a proprietary system. I'm open to suggestions, and would also consider other models that could tie into a system upgrade later on.

Thanks in advance for the help fam!

I’d get 2 of these for the 29.

I would stay away from current USA.

The current USA flux waves are nice and easy to use, the biggest issue with them is within a year the magnets rust and leach into your tank. For a awesome budget friendly pump look into the Skimz SS powerheads. They move a ton of water, are dead silent, wirelessly connect to each other and have a awesome company that stands behind their products.
