We are getting a 275 gallon acrylic tank the beginning of Dec and are starting to buy the necessary equipment. It will be fish only and it’s been years since we’ve had a large tank. What are good wave makers now? The tank dimensions are 36 in tall 24in deep x 72in wide.
Thanks for the help!

I use 2 Jebao mow 22s and 2 mp40s on my 210. I prefer the jebao wave makers. Recently went to macna and the sicce voyager hp10s look very impressive for the price and will probably be my next wave makers.

On my 230 ( 72”x27”x27” )
Im using jeabo cross flow

150 on one end and a 180 on the other . As well as a I believe it’s a sow 15
All running around 80% on w1
the skimmer is using a dc-9000 and the return pump is a dc-15000
I question sometimes if more flow is needed but I believe I have more than enough

Vortech MP40 or MP10 are my absolute favorite. I still have some jebaos and nero3/5s but I'm systematically replacing everything with mp40s.

I have a Nero 3 and a Nero 5 and love them. For a tank your size you would need the Nero 5, very easy to disassemble and clean and also pretty quiet. The app is really good too and always connects in seconds

Follow up question that didn’t even cross my mind. It’s a 1in thick acrylic tank. So a strong enough magnet is needed too

that will limit your choices alot I believe the MP60 can hold 1" not a lot of others....maybe wavs but they break all the time from what I hear.

there are ways to double up on the magnet tho but it get spendy quite fast
