Hello people, i am new to all this, i am after some help , i have just got a 4 foot tank and was wondering how many wave makers i would need for the correct amount of flow , many thanks

you need to let us know what kind of wave maker you want to use first :) if you are looking for flow in tank as well as being able to make a standing wave in your tank (yes you can actually get a good wave going in a 4 foot tank!) I would say pick up either 1 or 2 MP40's... the start up cost is pricey for them but they are amazing little pumps and push monsterous ammounts of water for being so small; and Ecotech has superb customer service so IMO they are worth every penny.

If you are worried about your budget I would check out the Koralia Smart Wave wavemaker. they can handle up to 100 watts of pumps (the 1050 GPH one runs off of 5 or 6 watts.. so you can have at least 6(i doubt youd need that many.)

I use it on my 46 bow and love it and for the price you cant beat it. Koralia has really good customer service as well.
