I have a 60 g tank and running 2 aqueon circulation 950 wave makers. is this to much? I don't have any fish yet in the tank.

Is the sand blowing around ?

If not, it’s fine.

Flow really can’t be be defined by model. Aqua scape has a or to do with it.
As long as you don’t have dead spots, and have a variety of different intensity of flow in different spots , you are probaly ok.

I have 1 pointing close to the top of the tank and the other wave maker closer to the lower middle. sand is not blowing.

Probaly good then.

If you stir the sand a bit, or use a frozen food to kick up some dust, you can “see” the flow.

And flow is one of those things that evolves for each of us. Slight tweaks here and there. Corals growing, sale at BRS (lol) , etc.

Is that a 24" cube? As long as those are decent-sized pumps I'm with salty. At most you'll want to add on in a year or few after corals have grown out. Not a worry. :)

Can you post a pic of the tank with them installed?
