Wave Pump Controller

I'm not sure if this is the correct thread, but it's a type of controller, so maybe?

I am looking at getting this wave controller for my 72g and was wondering if anyone has experience with it and how well it works, as well as favorite settings.

I currently have a Hydor Koralia Evolution pump - 1500 that I will be setting up. Down the line I am interesting in possibly getting a Grye Pump, but not certain.

I used there 4 stage controller, it worked absolutely fine. You set the mode and the time interval and it always works.
The only issue is with ac pumps and this controller will be that the pumps will be full on or full off. Also no soft start so it can be a bit hard on the pump.
