Hello,

I have two ReefWave 25 gyres installed on my tank. I attempted to program a schedule (reference screenshot below). It is pretty basic, I want the reefwaves to drop to an alternating wave at 25% from just before 11 pm and run until 10am the next morning. At 10am, I want the pumps to run the random profile (labeled Random_50). My issue is that my gyres don't change waves. They are just stuck at the alternating wave pattern. If you notice from the screenshot, the time is now 10:35am, and the wave profile is still alternating. I confirmed this by physically looking at the controller boxes on my tank. Is there a way that I need to initialize the schedule? The screen shot showing the "Now Running wave" also shows that the schedule is still at the Alternate wave type. Anybody else run into this issue? Any ideas on what I should try?

Thanks!

Well I guess I just had to look in the right place. It looks like the app doesn't automatically account for day light savings time. I discovered this because I was attempting to open a help ticket with Red Sea. During that process it was asking for the SN of the ReefWaves. I was attempting to look that up in the app under device manager. I then noticed that the the reefwaves were 1 hour behind the actual time. That led me to look to see how to update this. That is where I found this forum talking about day light savings time and how to manage it in the app.

Now it looks like everything is working now. I'll leave this here in case anybody else is searching this up on the forums.

All in all, I do have to say that the reefbeat app is definitely not the greatest thing. There are a lot of things that could be tweaked. Hopefully Red Sea continues to develop this in the future as it is clear that companies are not going to allow cross compatibility with other reef controllers (like Apex).
