Looking for a good-condition Wave2k wave maker... I know they're old and not really used anymore. So if you've got one tucked away, let me know!

I literally threw mine in the garbage in a move 5 years ago and I'm a "reef hoarder" omg, what a complete waste of money.....And TIME. I had a center unit and a corner unit. When they worked they moved water. They worked about 48 hours then it was the "parts remove inspect replace rodeo".

Belts too skinny, warped shafts, bad baffles the list goes on. I wish you luck in your search I'm sure people in the hobby long time will remember. Getting the parts should be easy.

Getting them working and your family to accept the sound.....not so easy

lol. I've got one here that has 4-5 years of use on it. The motor died and the worm-gear shaft is worn out.

It's going on a Frag tank, so sound, etc. doesn't really bother me. They produce the best flow of all the wave makers, IMHO. They simply can't be touched in that department, and that's why I want one. Frags (SPS, Zoas) seemed to do amazing whenever I had the Wave2K attached.

I've only seen working ones in video....unless you count the short time I had mine and I don't think they ever worked "right"

Still an interesting concept I had my center unit on one end of a 50g breeder. The flow pattern was the best AT THE TIME :p

If I still had them I'd give them to you, motor and all for shipping. I have a bag full of parts somewhere and if I stumble upon them they are yours.

Loudest aquatic purchase ever....and my worm gear was bent from the factory. Owner was real mean to me.

Anyways are they still I'm business? Any videos of your units? I'd love to share them with curious friends.

Good luck dude!

Excuse my typos. I'm posting on my Samsung Galaxy SIII using tapatalk 3 HD.

Here's a video my brother took 4.5 years ago... (It was on a freshly-setup 125g at the time)
