He all. Quick question. I have a 2x2x6ft tank. I have 2 mp40s, one on each side of the tank. I also have 2 gyres on the back of thee tank. I still have dead spots in each back corner. Does anyone have experiences with wave boxes? Would one of them be effective or should I buy 2 more mp40s or mp10s. Let me know what everyone has for flow.

4 mp40 will do the job nicely. I run that plus 2 gyres in a similar tank.

That's kind of what I thought too. Just always kind of like the movement a wavebox put out. So was kind of on the fence. What modes are you running with your mp40es and what positioning would you recommend.

Can you move the gyres more towards the corners? Or put one MP40 in the back lower corner and have it blow across. Either of those options could help.

You might be able to put a couple vca nozzles on your return and point them towards the back corners. Or try mounting the gyres verticle in the corners.

2 on each side. One at 12-13” high and then the one near the back panel a bit lower. In between the mp’s I have my gyres higher up to move a sheet of water over the top of everything and high enough to agitate the surface the entire 6 ft.

Since I run the Neptune wxm I change programs on the mp40 several times throughout the day.
