Can I plug my WaveEngine directly into the Powerbar (6E) for my Profilux? I'm not sure if I'll blow anything up, since the WaveEngine also powers a couple (to be several) gyres/pumps...?

Thanks!

Why not? Set the socket you want to use to always on or to the function you want. If you want it to have power even if your controller goes down - go to the actual socket here and mark it on as initial state . First system - red mark

Second assign and.... . Here it is a power hub and I have marked S3 and S6 to be on - even if my powerhub have no contact with my main unit. Because the numbering starts with 19 (blue mark) S3=S21 and S6 = S24 in my setup

Thanks! I wasn’t sure if you could plug something that drew more power (as much as waveengine) into a GHL power bar more bc of the electrical load than anything.

Depending on model each socket can draw between 10 - 16 A but you can´t never draw more (all sockets together) than your house fuse (for that connection) allows. Here in Sweden where the wall sockets fuses are 10 A - I can connect 10 A in one PB sockets or divide it out between all six, In the US - I think they are 16 A max / socket but max 16 A for all 6 (correct me if I´m wrong @Vinny@GHLUSA )

From what I have read the WaveEngine power supply can draw up to 2.5 amps of AC power. So I don't think that would be your issue unless your are near the maximum of you power outlet. If it was me I would not have it powered via a switched outlet. To work correctly it needs to be powered at all times.

I wanted to hook it up to the GHL so I wouldn’t forget to turn it off during maintenance, etc…

The US version Powerbars can handle up to 15A (Powerhub 10A). This can be put on a single socket or spread throughout the sockets on the PB.

Cool thanks. I guess I need to figure out how many amps everything uses but sounds like it should work.

Unless you have a chiller your heaters are probably the most power hungry items. What wattage are they?

400W (IW Helio). I’ll do some quick addition and confirm but it sounds like everything should be good to go :)

could anybody tell me the exact case measurement of the Powerbar for GHL? I feel like the 18.5" they state is longer than the actual case, but maybe I am mistaken... trying to fit this into a custom box I already have. Thanks!
