waveline DC2500H and Apex

I have a waveline pump and apex ready controller, I hooked up the cat5 cable and since there are no instructions how do I hook this thing up to the apex and use the speed control ability.

I have not used it but I think it works like the tunze 1073.050. The cat5 cable is controlling the speed of the pump from the VDM port and you can plug the power cable of the pump to any outlet. How do you plan to use this pump? Return pump right?

Now that you have the cat5 cable hooked to the variable speed 1/2 port on the apex, its just a matter of using the variable speed 1 port. Before you begin, make sure that your wavelive controller is set to its lowest setting. In fusion, if you cant see the VARSPD1_I1 then drag it out of the tray. Hit the cog icon to go to the programming for that port. Now use the wizard to choose what times and what speeds the pump runs. Hit the 'update apex' button in the top right. If you switch VARSPD1_I1 to off, it operates at whatever level you have the waveline controller set on. If you have it set to auto, it uses your programmed speed that you chose in the wizard. If you turn it to 'on', it runs the pump full speed.
