I have a waveline dc12000 running my 100g tank right now.
Up untill lately i really felt like it had been the best piece of equipment i had ever purchased for my tank. Quiet ,reliable , powerful, and pretty small footprint. However a few times after a power failure it just wouldnt come back on. Not every time just a couple. I wrote if off as a hiccup in the controller. Well sometime last night for no reason that i could find it cut off. No power to controller and green light on power supply was out. I unplugged it and let it sit and plugged in a power wire from my maxspect and got the power supply back on however my controller didnt light. Repeated the process a couple time and it came back to life. Switched back to original power cord and its running fine. However now the 3 pin lines from the powersupply to controller and line to pump right by the couplings are noticeably hot.

Anyone else have these issues or is mine just a lemmon. Im waiting on RLSS to respond to my email since its still under warranty till November but wondering if they replace it should i just sell the new one and look for another pump option or keep plugging along.

Thoughts, opinions, and past experiences would be helpful.

I don't personally own one of theses pumps but, from everything I just read (this will give you little solace) there are reports of over-heats related to pumping heights...
maybe [HASHTAG]#reefsquad[/HASHTAG] give give you additional opinions.

I doubt its head height. Throttle back to 1" outlet and manifolded for 2 mr1 reactors and total head height is 52". If it cant handle that its trash anyways. However Rlss got back to me and are going to replace my pump block and controller. So hopefully all will be well soonish
