I have been looking at few different wavemakers for nano tank.
im sure powerheads can't mimic ocean waves 100% but i want something that's close to ocean waves like powerhead
these are my 4 candidates:

MP10 has about 8 different modes (i like lagoon and reef crest mode) but you need to get reeflink
Icecap 1K has 5 modes with 24-hour programming cycle
Tunze 6040 i couldn't find anything about modes, are they programmable?
Aqamai KPS has 6 modes with wifi

if you were to get MP10 isn't it better to get radion xr15w g4 since both can be used on reeflink? or is it overkill for small nano tank?
I would like to keep a clam and few sps
Also i don't know if single puck xr15w will show disco effect on the tank.
i have also looked at Kessil A160, AI Prime HD, and Hydra 26 HD

any help would be wonderful!
thank you

I had a MP10 on my RS Max nano for a year or so. It did pretty well. Then I decided to try and replace the bearings (it was an old unit and getting loud) and destroyed it. So now I have a tunze 6040 that I'm pretty happy with. I miss the ability to change wave patterns during the day, but I don't think anything in the tank cares.

thanks for sharing your experience. I heard good rep. about tunze equipments in general. only down side is that you can't change wave patterns i guess. Thank you!

If you have a controller on the tank, there's a cable for 0-10v control for the Tunze. My Apex is on another tank, so I could do wireless control from the wxm module on the mp10, but not a wired connection.

Overkill? I have 2 MP10's and a XR15 G4 Pro one my Red Sea Reefer Nano... to make it even worse, they are all controlled by my Neptune Apex...

Oh, btw, I use the diffuser on the XR15 and love the look of it.

wow 2 MP10's and Apex. I don't have budget for Apex sadly...
will diffuser remove disco effect completely?
