WaveMaker is going in reverse

This is the wave maker I have. I turn it off for my feedings and then I turn back on and it goes in reverse. I can turn it off and back on a couple times and then it work what can I do?

Just that. Turn it off and on a couple times and it’ll straighten out. Koralias are known to have this issue, at least most of the ones I’ve handled.

Okay what brand would you recommend that I wouldn't have this issue and could plug it in to a wave controller.

Im not sure what ac pumps would be the best for this application. There are lots of inexpensive DC options like Jebao and the likes out there.

Had the same problem a few days ago after a cleaning. Found the tiniest bit of crud that was obstructing spin and it would reverse. Check your prop shaft and all areas of contact for irregularities.
