Wavemaker or no?

I have a 3 month old 5.5 gal nano/pico...it's current stock is zoas,toadstool(small),gsp and pulsing xenia..I use a seachem tidal 35 turned to full power. My toadstool at opposite of filter is waving gently in the current. Is this enough current for the tank? Or do I need a wavemaker for this small of a tank? If so,suggestions that won't give my wallet heart failure and is easy to "dial in"

a video would help greatly. however, based on your description i believe the flow should be enough.
