Wavemaker placement recommendations

I have a waterbox 50.3 and need some recommendation on where to place a pair of Nero 5 . It will be a lps only tank, Iv been thinking of backwall or on the side

Nice tank first of all. Unfortunately, there is no concrete answer as everyone’s tank is different. The placement of your wavemaker will depend on the types of LPS you select as well as placement within your tank. How powerful your wavemaker is to deliver flow to as much of your tank to avoid dead spots where algae and detritus will grow and accumulate.
Your best bet is to play around with your Nero 5’s...your coral will let you know if the flow is too strong or not enough. Moreover, you ultimately will be able to come up with the answer to your own question better than we will.
