Wavemaker placement query.

I have seen some mixed coral reef tanks with the wavemaker placed at the back of the tank, so not visible on the sides.

What are the pros and cons of this? Does the flow of the water push back off the front glass?

I have a Reefer 350?

I had two koralia nano 425 pointed to the front glass on my 29 bio cube with good success. I had one pointed higher and one lower and both pointed slightly inward. I found that the water would push back off the glass like you said and would cause some good chaotic flow patterns.
