I have a tunze wavebox in my 55 gal reef tank and I also have 2 hydor korelia evo 1150 do I need all this water movement or can I just run the wavebox

that is difficult to answer without seeing the flow in the tank, amount of rock, types of corals etc... I feel the wave box should be enough, but if you develop dead spots on the sand bed then you might need to add the additional flow... you also want the top to ripple so you get good exchange of gases released from the water channel.

Here is a pic of my tank I am fighting an algea problum at the moment as well and with the flow in my tank right now I'm having a hard time with my zoas oping because of to much movement [[ISBN-13: 978-1418073367
