I currently have one ecotech mp40 on left wall of 57g rimless with over flow on back wall middle. I also have 2 jebao wavemaker on each side of back corners. I'd like to part with jebao pumps cause they are driving me crazy and probably not providing enough water movement to support my flow needs.

Need help. Based on your experience, which wavemaker would u suggest as a replacement? Can I get away with another ecotech on right side back wall alone? How about maxxspect or Nero pumps?

I have 2 icecap gyres and really like them, its a good wide current thru the aquarium.

Budget and time that you think that you might stay in the hobby?

Tunze are world-class for performance and longevity, but they cost a bit more. I had my first Tuze pump die after 13-14 years, so a bargain even at the higher price - the rest are still running.

Gyres move a lot of water, but it is more static and I do not like how the make my acropora "lean" with the flow. I would not use one alone.

WAV and EcoDrift are good pumps that are in the middle of cheap Jeabo and Tunze... they perform in the middle and have a price point in the middle.

I don't like noise from the EcoTech pumps, but if you are happy with them, than that is a good choice too.
