Hello,

I just purchased my Fluval sea CP1 (265 GPH) for my Fluval 13.5 nano tank. Housing two clowns, a cleaner shrimp, clean-up crew, and planning on getting corals. Seems to be doing great in the tank however, should I turn off the powerhead and just keep the wavemaker on or should I keep both on?

Thanks!

Do you mean that you already had another powerhead, you didn't really say. And if things seem good then I don't see why you would turn one off.

I run two wave makers and an upgraded return pump in my Evo 13.5.
One at the top back corner aimed at the front glass and the other at the opposite back corner but down lower and aimed at my rock scape. Both are set on a pulse mode. Corals are very happy and my Clowns love to play in the current.

What would you recommend for an upgraded return pump?

Hi just wondering what size/model wave maker you use? Thanks

I run two of these. I started the tank with one but added the second one about a month later.
