Looking to and new wave makers to my 65 gallon tank. But really don’t know what gph I need. Any help would be appreciated

the amount of flow is going to depend on the corals that you plan on keeping.

You’d be looking at around 1300 gph for a low flow tank all the way up to 6500 gph for an SPS dominant tank. I prefer 2 smaller powerheads than one larger one.

I have not heard much about that pump, but you’ve got a lot of choices in that price range. Personally I’ve been using Coralbox for the last few years with decent luck, especially the QPS models.

I have 2x of those in my 75g ( and a 4k gyre)

The sdc wave pumps are great, temperature alert, loss of wifi alert, jammed rotor alert. Easy to strip down, battery backup is so cheap and easy to add, only downside is theyre a bit big, but i use my two behind the rocks on the back wall so you hardly see them, 5 year warranty too
