Does anybody have any good remedies to increase the growth rate of their zoas? Ive seen people with crazy growth and I just dont know how they do it.

I add reefplus but I dont use phytoplankton due to its inconvience of keeping them alive. Does it make much of a difference? Does Using halide increase growth alot more?

For example here is a pic of a powerhead that some guy had zoas covered in! I must be missing something.

A local buddy of mine's been playing around with his colonies to figure out different factors that promotes growth, and it seems it's a bit different depending on which morph. However, fragging does seem to promote growth the most and also giving baby polyps ample space to grow out also allows your colonies to grow faster. Also the shape and the texture of the surface that the zoas grow on makes a difference. For instance, in his experiments, he figured out the Tubs blues seem to love growing in a "ball" shape, on top of putty, instead of LR rubble, whereas Purple Death preferred more of a flat surface to grow on LR. You just gotta play around and try different things untill you figure out what your zoas like the best.
