...now dosing alk, cal, and mag/supplements

I have to agree.....just a few weeks over a year old now and frags all fairly recent additions, ...my patience is being strained trying to wait for things to grow out. getting more confidence now though, may consider getting some "colonies"

I just got the same tank working on the build now, looking to get the reef octo pump or the Ecotech , is the 6 too much for the tank or just right you think? How do you like it?

Haven't had an Ecotech return pump but so far the RO Varios 6 is performing fine. I have it running on the 4th speed setting. I especially like that the feed mode can be easily set for 15 minutes or 1 hour, punch of a button. My skimmer which is also a RO varios has the same feature along with a "cup full" float switch that will shut it off. Both are quiet.p

I got the RO equipment for those features primarily and it is a known Brand.
