Hey guys I’m quarantining a sailfin tang. It’s been in there for 2.5 weeks.
I’ve been using a SeaChem multi-test for the past 10 or so days, and I’ve consistently been getting, Total Ammonia: 0.05, and Free Ammonia: 0 (I got 0.01 yesterday but it’s 0 today).
I started dosing SeaChem stability a few days ago.
Should I be doing emergency water changes? Or only if I get free ammonia? I’m doing a regular water change every 10 days or so but that’s just to siphon debris. The fish is totally fine, eating very well in cupramine. It’s also stopped being skittish.
I’m just a bit confused on how to respond to this because I’ve never been able to test FreeVsTotal before...is it slowly building up to eventually harm my fish?
