How many reefers have been able to achieve good coloration of the WD Acro? I see that most frags are just green, which made me wonder if getting awesome color out of these is very difficult.

I think mine is getting some pretty good color so far. This pic is under 250w Radiums, and very little adjustment. I left in the uglies nearby so you can see the color is about as real as I can get it. So far I really like this coral!:)

It is not a very hard coral to color up. Just think that most underlight them or have low quality lighting, and thats why you see lots of green ones.

They need light... tons of light! They’re pretty much bulletproof, but unless they get ridiculous amounts of light it’s hard to pull out those pinks. That’s been my experience at least.

Respect for showing true colours. Too few do.

Purple tips and brown polyps are what it looks like under 14-20k lighting. You need to trick-it-up with blue LEDs to get it to look like what you see on the internet sometimes.

Both these are under T5s first shot coral+, blue+

Just coral+ with better camera. This coral can take 500-600par if your nutrients/alk are balanced for that much light.

No issues. Have it under leds. Lights cover both spectrums throughout day so i get to enjoy all colors it offers.

Yep they need them some nutrients if you want to see those colors
