Wd pale in colour, help

my wd is pale in colour at the moment, polyp extension is decent for its 1/2in size. What can I do to improve the colouration? Digi, birdsnest and orange passion have good colouration in comparison and parameters have been stable

Nitrate unsure as I need to get a test kit

Yes you need that N03 kit!

Let me say this, if you recently got the WD and it's losing color, reduce your light intensity by 20%.

What lights do you have and what's your settings?

Also how old is the tank?

Do you have a pic? Did it look better when you got it and is losing color? Unless you are looking at it under blue lighting, WD is a pretty lackluster acro.

I'll get on that asap

Lights are Radions and they're on modified sps ab+ at 80%, I've only got 3 xr15s and that's why the intensity is that high

I've had it for 2 weeks and the par is 230 in the spot its in. Birdsnest and digi are receiving like 10 par more and are happy as can be

It definitely had more pronounced colour

As best as I could get but it looks pale purple

It takes awhile. Mine was a pale seagreen for 5 months before the colors started to come out. Just be patient.
