Marine Depot is looking for temporary help in our warehouse. You must be able to recognize and identify aquarium products and equipment. This is a great opportunity for college students or anyone looking to earn extra income for the next 1-3 months. The position may be full or part-time within this period. Our normal business hours are 8 am to 5 pm PST, Monday through Friday.

You will work in our Garden Grove, CA headquarters. You will be splitting time working both inside our office and in our warehouse. You must be computer literate (Windows PC, web browsers) and must have the ability to lift, carry, push or pull objects up to 30 pounds. Having a camera phone would be helpful, but not required. Our ideal candidate would be familiar with saltwater aquarium parts and accessories.

The position pays $10/hour and includes generous employee discounts on aquarium and pet supplies after a short probationary period. If you're interested, please email us at [email protected].

Dont really seem like the appropriate place to ask about that but minimum wage is still 9$ a hr until January 16 then becomes 10$

All that for minimum wage

I'm sure it beats working at a fast food restaurant. o_O

Would look good on a college application. As long as they gave you the title Aquarium specialist or something, it is all about the job title. Certainly better work experience for resume than a fast food place.

M-f 8-5... Sounds great. Though the commute from St. Louis may be a bit too much.

I thought minimum wage is $15

Minimum wage is indeed $9 and will be $10 come January 1.

Hopefully the job description didn't sound like a bummer. It's actually a really fun temp role here! In fact, we already met with some eager candidates and made an offer to one.

We'd like to think so!

wish you were in Montana...ugh would love this job, who doesn't want to be around saltwater equip all day

The generous employee discounts make being around all that saltwater equipment even more desirable!

Can I telecommute? :)

Not for this position, no. This person needs to work from our Garden Grove headquarters.

Let me know when you have a telecommuter position available, I'm down! MD seems like a fun company to work for and who wouldn't want a discount on all those goodies ;)

We hope to have many new opportunities open up in the months/years ahead and absolutely appreciate your interest in working with us. We're honored!
